Parquet refers to a type of flooring that consists of small, individual pieces of wood arranged in patterns or designs. There are various types of parquet, each distinguished by the pattern and arrangement of the wood pieces. Here are some common types of parquet:

Herringbone: Herringbone is one of the most popular and classic parquet patterns. It consists of rectangular wood pieces arranged in a zigzag pattern, forming a series of V shapes. The pieces are typically laid at a 90-degree angle to create a visually appealing design

Chevron: Chevron parquet is similar to herringbone but with a distinct difference. The wood pieces are cut at an angle and laid to form a continuous, arrow-like pattern with a point at the center. The ends of the planks meet in a V shape, creating a striking and dynamic look.

Basket Weave: Basket weave parquet features a woven pattern that resembles a basket. Versailles: The Versailles pattern is inspired by the traditional parquet floors found in the Palace of Versailles in France. It features large squares or rectangles with intricate geometric designs, often including diagonal lines and curves. The pattern creates a luxurious and ornate look.

Mosaic: Mosaic parquet involves intricate patterns created by combining small individual wood pieces of different shapes and sizes. These pieces are assembled to form geometric or artistic designs, offering a wide range of creative possibilities.

Dutch Pattern: Also known as the double herringbone pattern, the Dutch pattern combines elements of both herringbone and chevron. It consists of diagonal rows of rectangular wood pieces, alternating in opposite directions, creating a striking visual effect.
